Check-in is from 2:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM.

Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability. Contact us directly on (02) 4336 0400 prior to your arrival to make a request. Additional charges may apply.
Is there a 24-hour front desk?
Yes, our front desk is staffed around the clock, so you can check in at any time of day or night.
What do I need to check in?
You’ll need a valid photo ID and a credit or debit card. A security pre-authorisation may be placed on your card at check-in.
Where is ibis Styles The Entrance located?
We’re at 315 Central Coast Highway, The Entrance North NSW 2261, overlooking the calm waters of Tuggerah Lake and just minutes from the beach.
Is parking available?
Yes, free onsite parking is available for all guests. No need to book it in advance.
Is there EV charging available?
Yes, a Tesla EV charging station is available on site. Please ask at the front desk for access details.
How far is the hotel from Sydney?
ibis Styles The Entrance is approximately 90 minutes’ drive north of Sydney via the M1 Pacific Motorway. It’s an easy and scenic drive up the Central Coast.
How far is the hotel from Newcastle?
The hotel is approximately 45 minutes’ drive south of Newcastle via the M1 Pacific Motorway, making it a convenient stop between Sydney and Newcastle.
Is there public transport nearby?
The closest train station is Tuggerah Station, which is approximately a 20-minute drive from the hotel. Bus services also run along the Central Coast Highway. We recommend hiring a car if you plan to explore the region.

Yes, free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel and in all guest rooms.
Does the hotel have a pool?
No, there is no pool on the property. However, guests have direct access to the Anytime 24/7 Fitness gym at the adjacent Diggers The Entrance club, and beautiful beaches are just minutes away.
Please note: Anytime Fitness gym is a separate business. Subject to charges (not included in rooms rate.) Guests receive a discounted daily pass.
Are accessible rooms available?
Yes, we have accessible rooms designed for guests with mobility requirements. Please mention your needs at the time of booking so we can do our best to accommodate you.
What in-room facilities are included?
All rooms come with a flat-screen TV, mini fridge, and tea and coffee making facilities. Free Wi-Fi is also included throughout the hotel.
Is there in-room safe storage?
Yes, in-room safes are available in guest rooms.
Is there a restaurant at the hotel?
Guests have direct access to Outside-In Kitchen, the casual dining restaurant at Diggers The Entrance next door. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available, with menu options including kids meals, vegan, and gluten-free choices. There’s also a designated kids’ play area.

Is breakfast included with my stay?
Breakfast is not automatically included with all room rates. Some packages and special offers do include breakfast. Check the details of your booking or visit our special offers page for packages that include breakfast.
What are the breakfast times?
Breakfast is served at Outside-In Kitchen next door. Hours are approximately 6:30 AM – 9:30 AM Monday to Friday and 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM on weekends. Please confirm current times with the front desk as hours may vary seasonally.
Is there a bar?
Yes, Diggers The Entrance has onsite bars with a relaxed atmosphere, right next door to the hotel.
Is room service available?
Unfortunately room service is not available, however we are attached to the Diggers The Entrance and you are welcome to take your meal back to your room.
Is ibis Styles The Entrance family-friendly?
Absolutely. We have family rooms with sofa beds, a kids’ play area at Outside-In Kitchen, and a location that’s perfect for exploring beaches, Tuggerah Lake, and the famous pelican feeding at The Entrance. Families are very much at home here.
Do children stay for free?
Yes, up to 2 children under 12 years old stay free when using existing bedding. Cots and rollaway beds are available on request for an additional charge (approximately $10 for a cot, $45 for a rollaway bed – please confirm current pricing at the time of booking).
Do you accommodate sports and school groups?
Yes. We regularly host sports teams, school groups, and touring parties. We offer group-friendly room configurations, coach parking, and easy access to the Central Coast Regional Sporting Complex (CCRSRC). Get in touch to discuss group rates and logistics.
Are there function or event spaces available?

How do I make a booking?
You can book directly through our website for the best available rates, or through major booking platforms. Booking direct means you deal with us directly and can contact us easily if your plans change.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation policies vary depending on the rate type selected at the time of booking. Flexible rates allow cancellations up to a certain time before arrival without charge. Non-refundable rates are cheaper but cannot be cancelled or amended. Always check the specific conditions before confirming your booking.
Is there a minimum age to check in?
Guests must be 18 years or older to check in without a parent or guardian.
Is the hotel non-smoking?
Yes, all 52 rooms are non-smoking. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available on the property.
Do you accept pets?
Unfortunately, pets are not permitted at ibis Styles The Entrance (with the exception of registered guide dogs and assistance animals).

A surcharge of 1.4% applies to credit card payments. Debit card and cash payments are not subject to a surcharge. Please confirm current surcharge rates at the front desk.
